A new label is born in Valencia, Spain. Nostrax is the brand Oscar Sala, Fran Alberola and Eloy Roig have chosen to release all the productions that they fall in love with. Its philosophy is based on the quality and commitment of the artist involved, and the creation of an independent style, without pigeonholing in a specific category. The only possible kind is electronic music. Oscar and Fran are the new Valencian talents, with new ideas and a clear mind. Their productions have come out on very important labels like Eklektish, Natura Viva, Factomania, Tecnove, Gatspiel, Suruba X, Piston and many more even some vinyls releases on Ackerdub, Workbench, Kiara and Deich are also noteworthy.For the first Nostrax reference, this Valencian group focuses on Iván Picazo. He is a long-time DJ from Barcelona, and a lover and connoisseur of electronic music styles that apply in each of his productions and sets. His discography is short but intense: 2010 saw releases by Nulogic, Cr2 and Espai Music and in 2011 by Sincopat as well as several remixes. On Nostrax he presents a track defined predominantly by a synth melody with an eighties touch that perfectly shows his culture and background as a DJ. "The Traveller" is an elegant production that features remixes of One D, also from Catalonia and with another great Ramiro Lopez remix which is still supported by Sincopat, Garcy Noise, the Spanish legendary dj owner of the nice label Justified Cause and Marcus Gehring, Dutch producer re-converted to House who in a short time has published on Suruba, Einmalens and Upon You also.
