Our debut release introduces everything Deeper Meaning stands for. Full of trademark deep sounds from two of Etoka's finest artists, Verano and Paskal, who ramp up the atmosphere and slow down the tempo with two of the most unique tracks we've heard from either producer. Both tracks explore that most difficult, beautiful and painful of emotions, love. Add to this subject matter the warmth and feeling which can only be found on 12" slices of black wax, and you have something rather special indeed... First up is Verano's 'You'- a touching and and deep piece of slo mo electronica with incredible clarity of production. Call it pitched down house, nu-disco or whatever you like, all we know is that it makes us tingle in all the right places. On the flip side is Paskal's 'I Love You', with a slow building intensity which belies its languid tempo. Warm pads and dramatic chords gradually introduce utterly beautiful piano grooves and one of the most arresting vocals we've heard in a long time.
