Berlin based producer Erich Bogatzky delights us with his new Maiana EP, which derives it's name from the Maiana atoll in the Pacific Ocean. Perfect for the late summer season and inviting joyful beach vibes. The title track of the EP, "Maiana," gradually builds into an airy lighthearted soundscape with playful melodic percussive synth sounds, a solid bass line, and a hypnotic mood. A great companion for enticing people onto the dance floor. The second track entitled "Maio," offers a minimalistic deep house sound. The grooving bass line weaves in and out of the kick, an entrancing melody keeps the mood carefree, and an atmospheric pad washes over the arrangement. Perfect for dancing to a beautiful sunrise. The final track of the EP, "Mailu," takes listeners on a serene journey with harmonic pads, a fundamental bass line, and the percussion and FX provide a quasi-melody.
