This first compilation from the Get Down Recordings stable: Get Down & Techy Volume 01 features three exciting, tech-infused offerings. First up to the plate are tech-house producers and rising stars from South London, Jon Bills and James Hurr. Having remixed the likes of Kylie Minogue, Erick Morillo and Eddie Thoneick, Bills & Hurr are a couple of home grown dark horses on the up. Their huge new cut "Red Yellow" is pure class; lively, summery, up-beat rhythms meet funky, soulful, piano laden riffs. Track number two from this stellar package comes from San Diego based DJ/Producer and Billboard chart success Anthony Ross. With the help of tech house two piece ‘Maya Vanya' – an eclectic pair of New Zealand-based Croatian sisters – Ross whips up a fiery four-to-the-floor scorcher. "Hey Vah!" is definitely one for those long, hot, sun-soaked terrace parties: funky bass line's, afro beat bongo rhythms and tribal chanting make this one an absolute must for the summer.Track number three is a dirtier affair from prodigal British teenage sensation and Ibiza favourite Will Clarke. Joining him is off-the-wall radio host DeeAfro – more familiar to her London faithful as Miss Crazy D! Together they have created "Milosh" a driving, squeaking and pounding tech house takeover of the senses.
