Endorphins were identifiedfirst in the interbrain of a pig by two Scottish researchers in 1975. Endorphins regulate perception and are associated with the production of sexual hormones, as well as being partly responsible for the creation of euphoria. Which brings us back to our subject. Mercilessly lashing beats from an initial light euphoria suddenly unfold into a true fusillade of endorphins.
