The title track of the piece "Determination" describes a moment in life, when you are on the cusp to something new. It is about to lose ones fear, to translate sorrow but also hope into a decision. Deep House Chords intertwine with the signature rhythms that are typical for Camiel Daamen. He plays around with classical key-elements, claps and cuts, also with reverb and delay and proves his intuition for the right timing. The second track "Orchestraat" starts with a nice synthlayer and dark keys, which in the course of the arrangement mesh with housy chord sounds. A percussion line is driving the beat to the front and filter effects provide an airy feel. The track creates a homogeneous atmosphere by blending differing sounds. It yields a certain tension with that special formula. Deepness and uplifting moments are in perfect harmony for the beautiful moments on the dance floor. Raw, unpolished and fresh, the third track "Ritmas Meras" cuts the rug. The bass line in combination with the rhythm section provides the drive; the dropping of effects causes a welcome diversity. Camiel Daamen hereby combines elements of House and Broken Beats to a track, which clearly aim at the dance floor and by aid of good sound systems to the knees.
