Every child of the 90s knows Volkan Baydar. He could celebrate great achievements with his band Orange Blue. The nice pop ballades brought him onto stages with ten thousands of listeners, amongst others as openers for Lionel Richie and Tina Turner. He also composed the themes of the Disney-movie Dinosaurs and the Hollywood classic America's Sweethearts featuring Julia Roberts and Catherine Zeta-Jones. Orange Blue achieved platinum status with their album In Love with a Dream.This is why we are extraordinarily happy to release a duet by Volkan Baydar and Ferrini Records artist Rocco Costa, who already celebrated successes with musicians from Buena Vista Social Club, Albano, Max Mutzke and Rhani Krija. Carry on for Love is a soulful and precious 6/8-ballad. The touching lyrics are an affecting plea for love which directly gets under the skin because of Baydar's and Costa's expressive singing and their complex voices. The whole thing is accompanied with the soulful and enthralling music by Costa's band The Firebirds.The Remixes are produced by Mario Ferrini and Terra Mia. We are especially proud of the Terra Mia Underground Mix, which saw the light of day in the Basel based Black Bald Studios. According to our philosophy – "The beat beat goes straight into the legs, the melody straight into the heart." - we recorded a house track completely live for the first time since the Monotones' I Want to Be with You. Besides the tight rhythm section by Roberto dos Santos and Rocco Costa's soulful singing, beautiful phrases and a short solo by violinist Hyein Kindhauser-Lee and saxophonist Stephan Probst give a special touch to the song.This instrumental who is who is faced by the technoid and groovy Mario Ferrini Club Mix by Mario Ferrini and Stephan Probst.
