Here we go with one of the most prolific artists in the electronic market nowadays. The Mexican Mike Montano brings a decade behind the decks, collecting vinyl and playing around the most important clubs in Mexico. From 2007 he is focused on the production, blending the house with its techno benches, resulting the particular percussive tech-house sound we know from Mike.He comes to the Greek Quantized Music label with a rhythmic ep that identifies him very well, both musically and personally. Caminante features a fusion of disco and soul samples from which, together with the crushing percussive base, find the harmony inside House Music."Any human being can identify with the discourse. I am very proud to get to a track that explains current and human situations to motivate people."It Contains Vox and Instrumental versions of the song that gives name to the ep, as well as the remix of Bolumar and Kiko Martinez, and a second original track: ‘Danza de Hermanos'. The remix of the DocePulgadas boys shows a deep vision of the Caminante. They work carefully the sounds, twisting the voice, applying smooth reverbs, and introducing chords that provides groove to the track combining warmth with effectiveness on the dancefloor. No doubt is a very valid track for the terraces of this summer 2011. A good present from this couple of producers, the result of two years of collaboration. Soon they launch a double reference on Recycle, plus various remixes for Tapas Records and Joyfull Family among other labels.To complete this Caminante ep, 'Danza de Hermanos' represents the ethnic supplement track, mixing two different ethnic choirs, with Latin arrangements and a funk bass.
