Connect Four Records is the new sub-label of Tic Tac Toe Records. We've established it to focus on all the brilliant sounds in the deep minimal house neighbourhood – and we are finally ready to give you the first release. As an excellent beginning, we give you Satoshi Fumi from Tokyo, Japan.It is very likely that you haven't heard Satoshi's name before. But it's more than likely that you've stumbled into one of his many and diverse productions. He has released on labels like Yoshitoshi, Urban Torque, Force Tracks, Italic, Bedrock, Handheld, Irma, Disco Inc but under a set of different aliases depending on the electronic genre. Satoshi covers the whole field. As Owl, he blends atmospheric house with tough techno elements. As Deptech, he unleashes his deeper, progressive side. And as Elektron, he blends electro house beats with sensual sequencing. 8.va (Sian Stranger Mix): Sian (Poker Flat, Einmaleins, Karmarouge, Dirt Crew Rec) was recruited for this remixing assignment. We met him in Barcelona in the summer of 2006 where he blew our minds with a very deep set at the beach. Since then, he's been our first choice as remixer for this definitely first track on this new label. He accepted right away, and he came up with a very cool and rocking tech-house remix of "8.va" - very much in the vein of his Poker Flat and Karmarouge releases. Quality sounds!! 8.va: This is a melody driven piece of deep techy house here from Satoshi. A track for an opening set in style – or for that rainy Sunday chill out session at home. When the track is finished, you may kiss the beauty next to you. C2m: A fantastic piece of deep house, late nineties style, this track is 7½ minutes of warm and beautiful sounds to surround your body and make you relaxed, mellowed and in a good mood. Equally perfect for the laidback opening as for the nice comedown-and-fadeout of a perfect party. 8.va (Hansen & DJ Daniel Remix): Tic Tac Toe homeboys Hansen & Daniel have applied their signature skills and turned the track into a tearwrecking piece of immaculate deep minimal house – spiced up with that fantastic melody from Satoshi. Grips the heart every time.
