the label hertzklopfen was founded in 2007 by roderick (roddy) haas and chris haberer (ulan bator). the pre-stadium of that record company used to be an event- and booking agency that had then been active since 1997 in the field of electronic music. the label 'hertzklopfen' stands out for a refined music style beyond the scope of mainstream, which can be experimental, minimal or technoid, but always with two feet on the dancefloor. the literal translation of the term 'hertzklopfen', which is an almagation of the frequency and heartbeat, indicates the direction in which the label is moving: that is always forward! national- and international artists alike will get a "hertzklopfen" (he(a)rt(z)beat) by having a release on that platform, but also young starters who come up with quality demos.
