Haiti Groove Recordings
Haiti Groove was founded in the beginning of 2005 by the munich DJ and producer Bernhard Kanczer alias Jack Haiti. The musical output was clearly defined – everything was allowed - all styles Techouse, Clubhouse, Latin House, Funky House, Electro House, Deep Hosue, the most important thing is the quality of the music. In the meanwhile the label has released more than 24 releases by artists like Kid Creme, Thomas Gold, Kevin Sunray, Wawa, Chris Montana, Kid Massive, DJ Fist, Oliver Garcia and more...... Through many licensing deals, chart positions (german dance & club charts), Beatport sales charts, and with the mega hit "Porto Hustle" by Chris Montana in 2007, the label has been established to one of the most important house labels in germany now. Besides to the label we decided to build up a dj booking agency as well. From the beginning on well known artists like Claude Young, Jeff Bennett or Jack De Marseille joined to our DJ roster. After many hard years of working in the music biz and tons of contacts, it was possible for Bernhard Kanczer to sign many other well known artists to the booking agency. Now we are handling bookings for superstars like Thomas Gold, Chriss Ortega, Chris Montana, Danny Freakazoid, Sergio Flores, Wawa, Jack De Marseille, Damien J Carter, just to name a few. Most of them are exclusively with us. Also we can proudly say to employ 2 staff members in our company now, one internal assistent to the label and one external worker as booking agent. But we still felt there is more to it than that, so in 2007 we created a new sublabel, named "BeatModul Records" which should be orientated more in all variants of harder techno music (techhouse, electro). The main idea was born, because of the bad situation in the music market and it was necessary to extend our spectrum for reaching more people with our music. After 11 releases by stars like Kaiser Souzai, Pierce, Jeff Bennett, Steve Nash or Pascal Dollè we have reached an excellent status and can say it was worth to do it and it is a perfect complement to our other label.
