Elektromusikanten
The word "Elektro" probably put itself through most style directions independently from one another, in order to delimit itself from traditional instrumental directions and to emphasize the element of the electronical sound production. "Musikanten" hiked as free going people from town to town to play their music for the joy of dancing. Musicians, who built up little alliances are the precursors of the later theater groups, which again are the precursors of (modern) todays Bands. The traditional word "Musikanten" is approx. since 1600 belaid. The new definition "musician", which was developed around 1800, defines a person who exercises music in an instructed and professional way. This discribes the transition of a free going to an honorable musician.
