Corner Records is a Canadian/Swiss label based in Switzerland. Built around the concept of an artist collective/profit share, Corner works directly with their artists to develop name and image recognition and to open new markets. As such, Corner is very particular about which artists it adds to its roster, looking for long-term sustainability in high-quality musical output rather than flavour of the month or one off successes. Musically, Corner Records looks for artists who create music that transcends or blurs genre distinctions or moves in new directions, moves an audience either physically or emotionally, and which has an immediate but timeless quality.
