CLUB DES BELUGAS
Club des Belugas is a lounge-nujazz project, founded by Maxim Illion & Kitty the Bill in 2002 . CdB has released 3 albums "caviar at 3 a.m." (2002), "minority tunes" (2003) and "apricoo soul" (2006). The 12" "hip hip chin chin / Gadda Rio" climbed to number 1 of the German Club Charts in november 2003. The second 12" "Wildcats gotta Move / Dibidy Dop" reached number 3 in march 2006, and stayed in the TOP TEN for 8 weeks. Tracks from CdB have been licensed for compilations more than 220 times. Tracks from CdB have been licensed for advertisement and TV commercials of: BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Lexus, Smart, KIA Motors, Jaguar, Nivea, C&A, Landrover, Burlington, Hudson, Strenesse, The German National Soccerteam, CPD, Telekom South Korea..... "Apricoo soul" has been voted for "ALBUM OF THE YEAR 2006" by www.shirokko.de .The 4th album "SWOP" will be released on January 18th, 2008. Including such great guest vocalists as Brenda Boykin, anna.luca, Dean Bowman, Iain Mackenzie and Fred Astaire
