Morgenklang - Biography
Dortmund(Germany)2002 When these two young musicians met, they weren’t even performing the same style of music. And they met coincidently at an event, which didn’t have anything to do with music let alone techno. But as soon as they started talking about music made of beats and bytes they decided on cooperation right away. That was the start of "Mind 400" and the beginning of their professional musical career. First results were that some tracks were produced together. At the same time their work as DJ’s was a big step in the right direction and teamwork was more and more established and developed. One of the first locations the two City guys performed at was the "Hoesch-Bar" in Dortmund which is today known as "Versteck Club". Let’s rock!! The year 2004 asked for a creative break and so the chapter called "Mind 400" was closed. Both lads needed some space of their own for further development. Dortmund early 2006…. Like a Thunderbolt under the heading "deeper and more explosive" the time had come to start over again. "Mind 400" became "Morgenklang" The two lads from Dortmund created new techno sounds and found new ways of expressing themselves musically in many different ways. Tobias Dziapko and Christian Tuchscherer alias "Morgenklang" were positively surprised when the first labels knocked on their door. First releases on "Flug von Welt" (fvw004) and "Supafeed" (supa006) early 2008 showed how much potential this formation has to offer. Some well known DJ’s placed Morgenklang Tracks on their playlists. Morgenklang just want to play… The result was the first live performance by Morgenklang on February 14th 2008. The magazine "Colibri" (Issue February 2008) advertised the gig heavily and the radio station of the University Dortmund "eldoradio" broadcasted the concert live on air. (eldoradio@nachtkind).
