Kellerkind - Biography
Marco Biagini aka Kellerkind (literally translated cellar child) has been touring the best clubs in Switzerland as well as abroad for over 10 years already. He has satisfied many party goers with his groovy and propelling DJ sets in the clubs of Zurich (HIVE, Zukunft, Rote Fabrik and Rohstofflager) as well as in Berne's insider tip, the Formbar. He was able to prove himself a few times already at the Watergate Berlin and further bookings in Europe followed soon after. His success story began in 2007 when he met the guys of the upcoming Swiss record label Sirion Records at a memorable after hour. Memorable amongst other things because Kellerkind's first published track – Bergluft – was released on Sirion Records in early 2008 and also memorable because Bergluft rocketed through the charts and landed on No. 5 of the Minimal Charts on Beatport.com in no time. It was incredible for Kellerkind but confirmed by massive positive feedback from around the world. The next highlight that topped his joy was when the renowned John Digweed noticed Bergluft and played it on air in his radio show "Transitions" on Kiss100. Shortly after, Florian Meindl enabled the release of Kellerkind's first EP – Keller EP – on the successful label Flash Recordings. That EP featured the following tracks "Nacht Am See", "Natural Juice" und "TomTom" of which "Natural Juice" as well as "TomTom" ranked highly in the Beatport-Charts. "Natural Juice" sold so well that it was published again on Kellerkind's first vinyl EP release "Don't Go Home". Here too, the tracks made it into the top 100 at Beatport and sold successfully in vinyl stores and on decks.de After an intensive 2008 Kellerkind got the opportunity to produce a remix of Oliver Koletzkis "Since You Are Gone" on the label StilVorTalent and received lots of affirmation from various top artists. In November 2009 he was given the chance to release an EP on StilVorTalent with Niko Schwind. Soon after various possibilities opened for Kellerkind and he was able to establish himself in the world of producing. The world remains poised for the future of this Swiss music lover and awaits new productions from the cellar.
