He was just sweet 16, when he started his career as dj. First there were 5 o'clock teas at a well know dancing club in Linz, where he got people into ballroom dancing. But soon after this period he really fell in love with music and started working at graduation balls, discos and sommer night events. 9 years later he made his hobby to his profession and startet to work full time as resident DJ in Graz. Many, many openings and clubs later he was booked all over Austria by famous mega discos, like Bollwerk, Empire Club, Nachtschicht, Tanzpalast Baden, Beluga, Remembar, Novembar, Vanilli, Partyhouse, Starlight, you name it ! Due to these bookings and countless gigs at clubbings in austria and a broad (Kursalon Huebner/Wien, Club Zimmermann/wien, Fete Blanche/Felden, Tempel Club/Linz, Bern/CH, Florenz/I, Bukarest/H, a.s.o. … ) "house-music" became his favourite style of music. He supported many "house stars" like Tom Novy, Milk & Sugar, The Disco Boys, Sarah Main, DJ Pippi, Fedde Le Grand, Bob Sinclair, Phats & Small, Lorenzo Al Dino, Benny Benassi, DJ Antoine, Mad Mark, Jonathan Ullysses, Rene Vaitl, atb, Woddy van Eyden, Tomcraft, Mr. Mike, Mr. Da-Nos, Sir Colin, Sergio Flores, Gordon Edge, Denis The Menace, Jerry Ropero, Emma Lanford, Terri B., Tara McDonald, etc. …. but he also got inspired by them and found his own special sound. This sound is hard to discribe ……. housemusic has a wide spectrum, but J.G. understands allways how to bring the party people into the right mood to dance and celebrate … says one of his very old friends and comrad. In principal it is the right mixture of "oldschool" and "top news" as well as between "commercial" and "underground" ….. the success is in the mixing ! Strongly influenced through labels like Hed Kandi, Fierce Angels & Defected, as well as vocalhouse from Bella Italia, mixed with funky grooves ……. thats simply Joshua Grey like ……… you have to love it ! As resident DJ with Nachtschicht, Bregenz, A., he got to know and love the switzerland clubculture (Guest DJ in Liquid/Bern). Bernie -X, the Saxophon player, became part of his DJ way of live and through him he started to make his own music studio and productions.
