J Alexander - Biography
J Alexander set up his own musical imprint Friends Electric in 2006 and continues to produce, remix and write his own blend of soulful Techno and Tech-House. His productions can be heard across the globe, supported by the biggest names from across the electronic spectrum; Derrick May, Laurent Garnier, Nic Fanciulli and Ivan Smagghe, are to name but a few DJs that have supported his work and that of his label. But it is not just in producing where his talents lie, as a veteran DJ with over 15 years experience he has travel to some far flung places to move dance floors, like in 2009 where he performed an 8 gig tour of The Peoples Republic Of China. 2010 has seen J Alexander back in the studio, teaming up with some of the world's most respected producers such as SWEET N CANDY, KENNY LARKIN, DAN CURTIN and VINCE WATSON, who have all remixed his work, the first of these releases is by Rico Henschel AKA Sweet N Candy. As 2010 will draw to a close it will be with another massive J Alexander single "ENDLESS" already championed by one of Techno's founding fathers; Derrick May, this stunning release features a remix of "planet e" favorite and Detroit Legend KENNY LARKIN. This November release is set to be one of the most outstanding techno tracks of the last 10years and in the words of KENNY LARKIN himself "my best remix to date" high praise when you consider Kenny has remixed for the likes of: Carl Craig, Richie Hatwin, Ben Klock and Radio Slave.
