Eros Marez - Biography
Eros Marinho Nuñez was born in 1986, in the Galician town named Lugo. Son of portuguese father and spanish mother, he showed very soon a great interest in everything related to the music world around him. At the age of 7 he listened to the CD's and Vinyls of his older brother, a collection where you could find great bands of all times like The Doors, Dire Straits, Nirvana, Burning, the spanish band Los Enemigos, Eric Clapton and so on. All this bands will become the backgroung of this young producer's musical culture. At the age of 14 he came across other musical styles such as Rap, Rumba, Ambient, and at the age of 16 he had his first contact with Electronic Music. At first he would listen to 90‘s Techno, House or Electro Pop mixes and productions. This would increase his curiosity in this new world and around 2004 he took deep interest in the emerging style of Minimal, being this fact of great importance in his concept of Electronic music. At the age of 19 while, studying Photography in Santiago de Compostela, all his musical interests converged and he began to produce his own work with and old PC property of his older brother. Being thrilled with all the excitement that this world was giving him, at the age of 21 he bought a laptop, a pair of turntables, a mixer and 2 autoamplified monitors in order to develop his great love to Electronic Music. Since that time he has been increasing his volume of productions, with the purpose of improve his skills and extend his limits day by day.
