dubourdieu is the house and electro side to james best, who has been playing clubs around the uk, ireland and ibiza for the past ten years. In 2008 he decided it was time for him to start producing tunes that he could play during his house and electro sets, and so the dubourdieu concept came about. Since then he has had radio plays worldwide of his productions, played alongside Eric Morillo, the Trophy Twins, Jay Funk, Dermot C, Rob Tissera, Alex P, Judge Jules, Fergie, Seb Fontaine, Shapeshifters, Tall Paul.... (the list goes on).He has held a residency in the Coach in Northern Ireland since 1998 and has in this time also warmed up for some of the biggest names in the trance scene. However it was his love of playing in the backrooms where he had total control of the music policy, always playing the best dirty house and electro he could lay his hands on, and always making sure the crowd had the best night they could. No pretenses, no snobbery, just music to make people dance and party and leave looking forward to the next weekend... He has also done mixes for dance shows on radio, both on fm and internet shows. He has already been signed up to Grooved Music and Suma Records, with which his songs have reached the top ten in both the trackitdown.net and djdownload.com charts. With many more productions and remixes about to be released, things could get big in 2009
