DJ Only - Biography
Roberto Affuso aka Dj ONLY, since he was a child his friends nicknamed him "Only Night", for his eternal passion for music, especially the "dance". Indeed he spends his childhood between keyboard lessons. At the age of 14, at a birthday party for a friend of his, he plays a small hi-fi system of Techno of that period (Tony H, Mauro Picotto, Aphex Twin !!!), trying to pass, without succeeding, from cd to tape. Then an increasing passion for the Dj job makes him force his father to buy his first LP's and his first CD's. Only is distinguished by his dragging energetic sound, which reflects his attention towards new technologies. His musical sounds range between minimal, ipnotic, electro, funk, ambient, techno and house music, never leaving a line pulled low... The features of his productions are extraordinarily special and unique. His music is full of harmony and originality, contaminated by the psychedelic rythms of '70s, combined with the most modern electronic melodies. An experimental flow well worth to be danced in the dazzling lights of a disco of this Era!
