Dave Martins - Biography
DaveMartins (SouthPark rec.& SouthSwiss rec.) David Marti alias DaveMartins and alias DjMartiDee was born in 1975 in Locarno (Ticino, Switzerland). Even at a young age his passion for music was obvious, performing at the school parties and listening to artists like Boy George, Bee Gees, Pink Floyd and Prince ,ecc..... Since 1997 Dj Marti Dee became part of the local and non local music scene. In 2000 Marti Dee and his friend Kenny Ground started to collaborate and started the label Ground Control, which focused on a variety of rhythms and styles favored by the artists. The studio artists also began professional involvement as djs on many radio programs broadcasted by RTO (House Session, Groovelab, etc…). During his weekends he worked in clubs such as Alcatraz (Ticino), Prince Club (Ticino), Oxa Club (Zurich), Stoffwechsel (Zurich), Xtra Club (Lloret de Mar - Spain), Street Parade 1999-2001, the list goes on. In 2005 with the cooperation of fellow Dj and friend Baby Brown and the club Studio54, they recreated the famous brand "Electric Circus" that hosted the best djs in the field of electro-house music. In 2007 he finally realized one dream, GrooveLab Production, a society dedicated to the discographic world, and to the production of electronic music for which David is currently working. Needless to say that the path of this artist is still to be discovered!
