Citizen Kain & Phuture Traxx - Biography
Citizen Kain & Phuture Traxx are two well-known and respected Producers, Remixers, DJs and Labelmanagers (Neverending Rec.) who started their cooperation and teamed up in 2009. Citizen Kain from France started as a duo back in 2006 and was catapulted fast into the international scene. Starting in a Electro-Techhouse-direction on the Barcelona-based label Regular, their style began to evolve towards a more techno direction quickly. In 2008 Citizen Kain released the international hit "Doppelgänger" on MBF, a sublabel of famous Traum Schallplatten (Cologne). This track was a huge success and played all over the world. Several releases on labels such as Harthouse, MBF, Killabeat, Playmobil and Malatoid followed. In 2009, Chris - one half of the duo Citizen Kain - left the band for professional reasons, and Bruno continued the Citizen Kain-project alone. Around this time - so in 2009 - he meet also Phuture Traxx, an artist from Germany, and together they teamed up in terms of studio- & labelwork for the new label "Neverending Records" which was created and started in may 2009. Today three partners (Citizen Kain, Meda and Phuture Traxx) are managing the Paris-based recordlabel (12"-Vinyl + digital). The releases and remixes of Citizen Kain & Phuture Traxx enjoy regular supports by world's top-league such as Richie Hawtin, Dubfire, Dave Clarke, Monika Kruse, Felix Kröcher, Len Faki, Slam, Tomcraft, John Acquaviva, Mihalis Safras, Moguai, Ahmet Sendil, Martin Eyerer, Agoria, Phil Kieran, Uto Karem - just to name a few … Today, Citizen Kain & Phuture Traxx play in their Dj-Sets a powerful, energetic style ranging from maximal to minimal which guarantees jampacked dancefloors! Their musical ability has taken them not only all over France, Germany and Switzerland, but also around the globe to clubs & events in Spain, UK, Japan, Indonesia, Russia and other countries. Beside the releases for their own label Neverending Records, additional Citizen Kain & Phuture Traxx EPs + Remixes for labels like Trapez Ltd, Credo Music, No-Logik, Phobiq, Frequenza, Signature, Janemba, Flicker Rhythm, Amazone, Diva, Woh Lab, Dirty Players, Beat Em Up, Boeing and others are already out or will be coming soon - check regularly your stores! 2010 and 2011 will be another promising year for this new minimalistic techno tag team – so enjoy their sounds and keep the vibe!
